A directory has a built-in tension: useful means visible, safe means hidden. Jogajog resolves it with field-level visibility — you decide, per field, what appears in the directory.
Typical setups
- Names, designations and units open; personal mobiles hidden
- Official emails visible; custom fields like blood group restricted
Hidden means hidden everywhere: profiles, lists, and search — a member can’t find someone by typing digits of a number they’re not allowed to see.
Trust, but verify — with view-as
Before rules go live, click View as and pick any member: you’ll see the directory exactly as they will. No more “wait, can everyone see that?” moments. Every rule change lands in the audit log, so privacy decisions are accountable too.
