Jogajog Is Now Available in Javanese
Jogajog, the organization directory and communication app, is now fully available in Javanese. That means neighborhood committees (RT/RW), mosque and pengajian groups, alumni associations, arisan savings circles, and cultural societies such as gamelan groups can now use Jogajog in a language that feels closer and easier to understand for members of every generation.
Jogajog offers a choice of 25 languages, including languages with right-to-left script such as Arabic, Urdu, and Persian. With Javanese now part of that list, communities across Central Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java can use an app genuinely built for members who are more comfortable in their regional language than in Indonesian or English.
Why This Matters for Javanese Communities
In many associations and institutions across Java, members of different generations need to access information with equal ease. Language is often a real barrier, especially for elders or members who use Javanese day to day. With Jogajog now available in Javanese, that barrier is reduced, so every member, young and old, can take an active part in their organization.
Pengajian Group Announcements
Pengajian committees can send schedule updates, timing changes, or reminders through broadcasts and the Notice Board, in Javanese. Read tracking helps organizers see which members have already seen an announcement, so nothing important gets missed and committees no longer have to call or message everyone individually.
Alumni Gathering Lists
School and university alumni associations often struggle to keep track of members scattered across cities, or even countries. With Jogajog, organizers can import the member list directly from Excel, then use smart directory search to find fellow alumni quickly, even when names are written with different spellings or styles.
Village and Neighborhood Rosters
The structure of a village, RT, or RW organization is often intricate, from the hamlet head and secretary to treasurer and activity sections. Jogajog’s smart member directory can display that structure clearly and in order, so residents can easily find who to contact for a given matter, without asking around the neighborhood or digging through an old notebook.
Arisan Circles and Cultural Societies
Arisan groups and gamelan or other cultural societies can also use Jogajog to organize meeting schedules, send announcements about rehearsals or performances, and keep the member list continuously up to date. All of this can now be done in Javanese, which feels more familiar than a menu in a foreign language.
Mosque Committee and Congregation Data
Mosque committees (takmir) are responsible for keeping track of congregation members, event committees, and volunteers across many activities, from imam and sermon schedules to committees for major occasions such as Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. With a smart member directory, a committee can quickly find congregation members or volunteers by role or activity group, and send targeted announcements to a specific group, such as the zakat or qurban committee, without messaging the entire congregation.
The Same Features, in a Different Language
This language change does not alter how Jogajog works. Every core feature remains fully available:
- A smart member directory, with search that tolerates different spellings and scripts.
- Broadcasts and notices with read tracking, so organizers know who has received each message.
- A branded app that can carry each organization’s own identity.
- Roster import from Excel, without retyping member data one by one.
- Payment options — bKash and Nagad for organizations in Bangladesh, and cards or PayPal for organizations elsewhere.
Only the interface language changes; the organization’s data and structure remain exactly as before, secure and accessible whenever needed.
Start with a Free Demo
For organizers of communities and institutions across Java who want to see for themselves how Jogajog can help manage members and communication, a free branded demo is available. Simply send over a member list, for example an Excel file, and the Jogajog team will build a sample app that the committee can try right away.
