Jogajog Is Now Fully Available in Punjabi
The complete Jogajog experience — from the member directory to broadcasts and notices — can now be read in Punjabi, in Gurmukhi script. This is part of a 25-language rollout that also includes full RTL languages such as Arabic, Urdu, and Persian. From Punjab to the large diaspora communities in Canada, the UK, and the US, gurdwara committees, alumni associations, kabaddi and sports clubs, hometown village associations, and cultural societies can now talk to their members in the language they think in.
A Gurdwara Committee’s Sangat Records
Keeping an accurate, up-to-date record of the sangat is never simple for a gurdwara committee — families grow, addresses change, sevadars rotate. With Jogajog, a committee sends over one Excel file and imports the full roster in one pass; every sevadar, family, and committee member then becomes searchable in the smart member directory, shown in the Punjabi Gurmukhi interface. A call for langar seva volunteers, an akhand path schedule, or notice of the annual program goes out through broadcasts and push notifications straight to the sangat, and the committee can see exactly how many members read it, so it knows who still needs a reminder.
A Village Association Abroad
For a hometown association based in Toronto, London, or California, the hardest part is keeping older members comfortable in their own language while the younger generation defaults to English.
