Jogajog in Russian: The Full Experience for Russian-Speaking Communities Worldwide

July 29, 2026 · Jogajog team · 4 min read

The full Jogajog experience, now in Russian

From day one, Jogajog’s promise has fit in one sentence: everyone in your organization, organized and reachable. Starting today, that promise speaks Russian. The entire Jogajog experience — the member directory, broadcasts, the Notice Board, Handbook pages, search, the admin console — is now fully available in Russian. Not a partial translation that stops at the landing page: the complete experience, from the first screen to the last button.

Why Russian, and why now

Russian-speaking communities are scattered across the globe — from Berlin and Tel Aviv to New York, Toronto, and Almaty. University and school alumni associations, cultural societies and hometown associations, professional communities, congregations, charities, sports sections and hobby clubs — all of them run on the same thing: a member list living in a notebook, three versions of an Excel file, and overflowing chat groups. And in nearly every one of these lists, names exist in two writing systems at once: one person is recorded as “Сергей,” another as “Sergei” or “Sergey,” and whoever is searching still needs to find the right person either way.

Built for your structures, not bolted onto them

Jogajog does not force a corporate structure on you. Everything rests on organizational units you name yourself: the board, regional chapters, graduating classes, committees, parish councils, sections.

  • Alumni associations: every university or school graduating class becomes a Smart Audience — a broadcast reaches the class of 2015 without disturbing the class of 1998. The organizer no longer has to reconcile three versions of a spreadsheet before every email.
  • Cultural societies and hometown associations: a notice about a poetry evening or a charity concert goes out as a broadcast with push notification, and the Notice Board keeps it posted so any member can open and read it whenever is convenient.
  • Congregations: one current directory instead of scattered lists kept by different volunteers — and clear visibility into who has seen the notice about the service schedule and who hasn’t.
  • Charities: volunteer and beneficiary records in one place, with a one-click roster export ahead of the annual report meeting.
  • Sports and hobby clubs: a team or section directory with roles for coaches and captains that can be managed without endless forwarding in chat.

Search that finds the right person, in either script

Search in Jogajog is transliteration-tolerant: a query for “Sergei” finds the record for “Сергей,” and “Anna” finds “Анна,” regardless of which script a member used when their name was entered. That matters especially for diaspora communities, where the same family might use Cyrillic in one document and Latin script in another.

Broadcasts you know were actually read

A notice nobody reads might as well not exist. Every Jogajog broadcast goes out with a push notification and reports back a read receipt: you see who has already opened it and who still needs a reminder, instead of resending the same message to everyone. Smart Audiences do the rest: static groups where the list is fixed, and filter-based audiences that update themselves as membership changes.

Priced for community budgets

Until now, the choice was awkward: English-only enterprise platforms billed per seat in dollars, or a homemade mix of Excel and chat apps. Jogajog offers a third way: a simple subscription sized to your membership, with optional modules added only when needed. Importing an existing list — from Excel or CSV — is supported from day one, with duplicate detection. Organizations in Bangladesh can pay via bKash and Nagad; everyone else, by card or PayPal. And there’s more: send us your member list, and we’ll build a demo directory free of charge for you to approve before launch.
