Jogajog Now Fully Supports Chinese

Whether your organization is a long-standing clan or surname association, an active chamber of commerce, or an alumni association spanning continents, making sure every member can be found and reached is a basic need that is easy to overlook. Today we’re announcing that the complete Jogajog experience is now available in Simplified Chinese, part of our rollout across 25 languages worldwide, including right-to-left languages such as Arabic, Urdu, and Persian.

Why This Matters for Chinese-Speaking Communities

Chinese communities are spread across the globe, from clan associations in Southeast Asia to chambers of commerce and alumni associations in North America and Europe, with members often living across multiple countries and languages. Names frequently exist in both hanzi and pinyin. Traditional directories, whether paper registers or scattered spreadsheets, struggle to keep up with members moving, changing roles, or updating their details. Jogajog brings all of this together into one platform the organization controls itself.

Clan and Surname Associations: A Member Register That Actually Works

Many clan association registers are organized by family branch and generation, and administrators need to quickly find a specific relative by lineage or region. Jogajog’s smart member directory supports transliteration-tolerant search across scripts, so searching “Wang” also finds 王, without worrying about differences between hanzi and pinyin input habits. When an annual ancestral ceremony or reunion gathering approaches, the association’s leadership can send notices and broadcasts directly through the app, and see who has read them and who still needs a reminder.

Chambers of Commerce: A Directory You Can Always Rely On

One of a chamber of commerce’s core assets is an accurate, searchable member directory. New members joining, contact details changing, and leadership elections all need to be reflected promptly. Administrators can simply import an existing Excel roster into Jogajog, and the system builds the organizational structure and contact records automatically, without manual re-entry from scratch. Members can also look up each other’s contact details directly in the app, instead of digging through an outdated paper list.

Alumni Associations: Making Reunions Reachable

Organizing a reunion that spans decades and multiple cities or countries is often, above all, a challenge of finding people. Years after graduation, contact details change, and the same name may appear written several different ways across old class lists depending on pinyin spelling conventions. Jogajog’s broadcast feature can send reunion notices precisely to a chosen graduating class, department, or regional group, with read tracking so the organizing committee knows exactly who hasn’t seen the message yet and needs a follow-up call or reminder. The notice board feature can be used to keep event schedules, donation details, or alumni updates visible over time, without needing to resend the same information repeatedly, and lets newer volunteers on the organizing committee catch up on past notices at any time.

A Complete Experience, Not Just a Translation

This update is more than swapping interface text for Chinese characters. The admin console, member directory, broadcasts, and notice board all work fully in Chinese. Organizations in Bangladesh can pay locally through bKash and Nagad, while international users can pay by card or PayPal. Wherever your community is based, you can have an app carrying your own organization’s brand.
