Jogajog is now fully available in German

The complete Jogajog experience – interface, onboarding, and support – is now available in German, no detour through a foreign-language menu required. That makes German one of 25 languages Jogajog now runs in, including full right-to-left support for languages such as Arabic, Urdu, and Persian. For clubs, associations, and volunteer organizations across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, this means one thing above all: Jogajog now speaks the language board meetings, member assemblies, and clubhouse conversations actually happen in.

Anyone who has ever served on a volunteer board recognizes the pattern: the organization runs on a mix of email lists, WhatsApp groups, and a spreadsheet sitting on someone’s personal laptop. It works – until the club grows, the board changes over, or suddenly nobody is sure who even has access to the current member list. That is exactly the gap Jogajog is built to close.

The secretary (Schriftführer) and the endless chase for read receipts

Anyone who has ever sent a notice to 300 club members knows the problem: who actually read the invitation to the annual general meeting? The secretary retypes email lists by hand, sends reminders over WhatsApp, and still cannot be sure who is informed – and who claims surprise at the next vote because they supposedly never saw the notice. With broadcasts and the Notice Board in Jogajog, messages go straight to the right group with read tracking built in – the secretary can see at a glance who has opened a notice, without a single follow-up phone call or manually checked box in a spreadsheet.

The treasurer (Kassenwart) and the spreadsheet that is never quite current

Almost every club has an Excel file somewhere with names, addresses, dues status, and phone numbers – maintained by one person, copied around as an email attachment, rarely truly in sync with what the board or section leaders actually know. Jogajog imports that member list directly from Excel and turns it into a searchable, always-current directory the right people can access. Search stays tolerant of spelling variants and works reliably across different scripts, which matters for clubs with international members or sister organizations abroad. The treasurer no longer has to email around a third copy of the spreadsheet just so someone can look up a phone number.

The volunteer fire brigade and the roster

For a volunteer fire brigade, every minute counts. Who is reachable tonight, who holds which qualification, how do you reach the brigade leadership the moment an alarm comes in? A current, searchable member directory with clear structure – fire squad, youth brigade, leadership – replaces the handwritten list pinned to the noticeboard in the equipment hall. Broadcasts with push notifications make sure important messages do not get lost in an already crowded group chat.

Choirs, professional associations, and alumni networks

The same principle holds well beyond the classic sports club. A choir with several voice sections, a professional association with regional sub-groups, or an alumni network spanning decades of graduating classes – each needs a directory that reflects its actual structure, rather than forcing every member into one long flat list. Jogajog maps departments, local chapters, and sub-groups without forcing the organization into a rigid template.

Why this matters for German-speaking organizations specifically

With more than 600,000 registered associations in Germany alone – spanning sports clubs, choirs and music societies, alumni networks, and professional associations – volunteer organizational work is practically its own discipline here, usually squeezed in alongside a job and family. That is exactly why a tool for club administration has to be simple to use and must not create extra administrative burden.

Your data stays yours

In German-speaking countries especially, data control is not an afterthought – it is a baseline requirement. Your club’s member data belongs to your club: you keep control of it and can export your directory at any time, regardless of who currently sits on the board. For dues and module payments, bKash and Nagad are available in Bangladesh, while cards and PayPal are supported internationally.
